I have a gift from me to thee,
To last you through your days.
To show you what you mean to me,
In oh, so many ways.
This gift was purchased not with gold.
Nor cash, not whole nor part.
But with, if must the truth be told,
The wholeness of my heart.
It speaks of beauty from above,
And what I hold most dear.
My gift to you, it is my love,
And it grows every year.
Through all the trials you may face,
Through all the pain and strife.
Let my love soothe you, lend you grace,
My best of friends, my wife.
And when the stars have burned away,
When time is at it's end.
My gift to you will always stay,
My wife, my love, my friend.
